Dan Webb will be running a bird id course for HOC at Strumble Head on Saturday 31st August, meeting at the lighthouse car park at 8.00am. The day will conclude at about 4.00pm.
The course is aimed at birders who want to know more about ocean sea birds and learn more of the basics of identification based on flight style, plumage, shape and behaviour.
This will be an informal day hopefully inspiring those taking part about these wonders of the Atlantic.
The course is limited to a maximum of 15 people. If you are interested in attending please register your details with Robert Taylor at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. Places will be allocated strictly on a first come, first served basis. There will need to be a minimum of five people for the course to be viable. We will contact you by email to confirm that the course will go ahead as soon as five people have registered.
Full details of the course are available here.
