School Wood, Lucton

This walk will look for a variety of woodland birds with a possibility of Hawfinch.

Flat terrain along the footpaths (easy walking) with a finish time around 1pm.

If wet, wellingtons or walking boots and waterproof clothing advised.

Directions: HR6 9PG. At Mortimer’s Cross coming from Leominster on the A4110 turn right onto the B4362. After about 1.5 miles turn left onto a small road just before Lucton School. Drive up for about 200 yds. There is parking on the left-hand side for around 5/6 vehicles. Further parking for 1-2 cars further up at end of lane. Meet at the car parking areas half-way up lane. As there is limited parking car-sharing is advised.
